For the Akerselva Torchlight Festival, Talk Nature Artistic Research continued to explore how design can highlight wild edible plants as a potential emergency food source. The project builds on our presentation during Norway’s National Science Week.

We created a nature-based installation highlighting edible wild plants growing in the area. Enlarged plant markers made them easier to spot and invited visitors to stop, explore, and learn.

We also served drinks made from wild plants and invited visitors to share their thoughts and experiences through a questionnaire. Their responses were then displayed on a public post for other passersby to read and reflect on.
